Today was extremely windy - 20-30 knots - and we decided rather than being rocked about in the locks by wind, we might as well take the day off and clean, declutter and do some boat system problem solving. After cleaning the heads, doing laundry, writing notes and taking care of emails, we ventured off to buy a replacement video monitor at Best Buy in Liverpool, NY. The old monitor sadly had not survived the winter as so many electronics and appliances fail to do. Hopefully now that Salty will not be spending winters in the North, our electronics problems will diminish (!). We are looking forward after two weeks to seeing some mail and packages (hopefully containing solutions to the above-mentioned electronic issues) that are waiting for us in Oswego prior to venturing off to Canada for a good chunk of the summer.

Tomorrow, Oneida River - Erie Canal - Oswego River - a voyage of 28 miles with 8 locks. Long day ahead.
